Mill Point Capital completed a corporate carve-out acquisition of The Pythian Group’s services division, with Pythian continuing as a pure-play cloud and data services company. The transaction marked a new ownership structure for the business.

Pythian Services announced it had acquired Agosto, a Google Cloud Premier Partner and cloud services company. Pythian said the deal would expand its Google Cloud capabilities and broaden its services portfolio.

Pythian announced Keith Angell as chief executive officer and reorganized its executive team as it positioned for accelerated growth. The announcement tied the leadership change to the company’s recent acquisition of Agosto and Mill Point Capital ownership.

Pythian acquired ManageServe, an SAP application hosting, implementation, migration, analytics, and managed services provider. The acquisition extended Pythian’s ERP and SAP HANA capabilities across major cloud platforms.

Pythian announced a strategic partnership with GigaOm to support enterprise AI adoption and launch GigaOm’s Enterprise GenAI Maturity Model. The collaboration paired GigaOm’s framework with Pythian’s AI workshops and advisory services.

Pythian announced the acquisition of Rittman Mead, a globally recognized Oracle data and analytics consultancy. Pythian said the deal would deepen its Oracle footprint and expand its presence in the United Kingdom and Europe.
